Bio: Chef & Owner, Caja Caliente. Many will say Miami native and founder of Caja Caliente, Monica “Mika” Leon, was born to be in the culinary world. After migrating to Spain from Cuba in the 1960s, Mika's grandfather opened a chain of Cuban restaurants, which he ran along with his family through the 1970s.
